Post by: wilhelm85 on May 12, 2012, 10:44:52 AM

Hi!

today, when i tried to turn on the drivestation, after few seconds of purple blinking leds, the first led became red and the others green. after few seconds, all leds became red.

I bought a new 1 Tb hd to replace the one that seemed to be broken.

but the situation is the same.

The array was set as RAID 5. what can i do?

there are a lots of important data on that hd!

Thanks

(and sorry for my English)

What does the RAID software report? Sounds like possibly a faulty RAID controller. What mode mode were you using and do you have a backup?
