Nintendo USB WiFi Adaptor Client Mode?
« on: March 02, 2009, 11:26:32 PM »
Hello, I was wondering if my USB adaptor could run so that I could connect my computer wirelessly to a pre-existing wifi network. My roommate has a wifi network that I would like to connect to, but the only thing I have that could possibly do it is the USB adaptor. I run Vista on a standard pre-made Gateway computer. I know this could be done in Linux, as many searches I have performed have proven, butI have neither the desire nor expertise to install Linux at the moment. Thanks.

I don't think so.

But then again, we have no information on this, we only make the hardware, Nintendo does all the support for this product.

The Nintendo USB WIFI adaptor is similar to a WDS router.  It only be used as an access point to connect the Nintendo DS to the wireless network.  It doesn't has the internet connection function like a G/N USB wireless adapter.
