Newbie alert here - I'm a novice where networking/routers are concerned but I'm not sure if I'm getting the best out of my router. The above model is as it came from the factory i.e. Version 1.70 (R3.01/B1.00) linked to a Scientific Atlanta cable modem. However when I check Inssider, my router shows that the rate is 54 (N). Not sure if this means I'm getting the full range from it?
(Machine is Windows 7 64bit)
If this isn't what it should be, could anyone suggest how I improve it - in 'Idiot guide' terminology (or direct me where I can find out?)
