What does a solid red light on # 2 mean on a Drivestation Duo?

I had a solid red light for drive 2.  I turned it off and back on and the light turned green.  

 

It  turned red again so I shut it off and turned it back on and the light ius green again.

 

Does this mean the drive is failing or something else?

What is the model number of yoru unit and what is the RAID mode set to?

With RAID 1 you should have a green light for each disk. I would try and copy the data off and delete the array and recreate it. If it keeps happening then that disk might be bad.
