: WHR-G300N V2: NAT table full
: WerKKill January 27, 2011, 04:43:16 AM

I have a problem with my WHR-G300N V2. The NAT table fills up almost daily (even without any P2P clients running).

Any idea how to fix this?

Here's a couple of lines from the log:

You could try resetting or reflashing the firmware on the router. If it still happens after that, there will have to be some upnp device thats filling up the nat table.

Also, does the log not tell what is requesting what to go where? That log output doesn't show much. What is most likely happening here is that your nvram is getting hammered into oblivion by something on your network that is doing requests, and i don't know if you can set the tcp timeout in the stock buffalo firmware, but in buff dd-wrt pro, i always set it to 5 minutes, helps clear some of that kinda stuff out of there.

Thanks for the replies. The log file doesn't show anything else (it's not long enough) - it's the same line over and over.

I see that DD-WRT supports my router nowadays - I'll give it a try and see if it works any better.

The AP has been up and running with DD-WRT for 3 days now without any problems, so seems like this is resolved.
