Wired bridging WHR-G300N and WZR-HP-G300NH

I read in one of the forums that its not possible to do WDS between WHR-G300N and WZR-HP-G300NH.

One of the mods advised the following:

"Set it to bridge (turn the switch to off) mode and hook them up to each other via the LAN connection."

But the same mod also said:

"Bridging is most commonly used when someone has a router that is not wireless.  You can connect a bridged router to the non-wireless router to make a wrieless signal for computers to connect to."

What I would want to do is to connect both to each other thru wires and be able to provide wireless interenet to cover a wider range? The clients must also see only 1 connection. Can someone clarify if this is possible and how, in reference to the above mentioned posts by one of the mods?
