TeraStation - Web Access (Website Security Certificate Error)
« on: December 27, 2017, 11:44:42 AM »
Hi,

1.  Security Certificate Error
I've a server machine running on Windows Server 2012 R2 Version 6.3 Build 9600.  I wasn't able to access TeraStation (TS-QVHL7B4) via the server machine until I rebooted the NAS.  I was using Internet Explorer on the server machine and I received an error message "There is a problem with this website's security certificate".   However, I was able to access the TeraStation from my other regular workstation at anytime without any security certificate error.  Does anyone know why the certificate error?  I was trying to access it using the IP Address 192.168.XX.XX.  This is internal so why the error message.

2.  TeraStation NOT responding after sometime
Does anyone know why TeraStation go dormant after sometime?  Is there a setting to tell NAS to never go to sleep?  I've tried switching to using Chrome to access the TeraStation but to no avail until I rebooted NAS.  Any insights to this problem is greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
