Solution For A Potential Problem-Can't connect to router
« on: August 18, 2011, 02:05:03 PM »

So, I moved my router yesterday from the upstairs to the downstairs.  Before I did so, I flashed to DD-WRT and set it back up as far as network wise.  Went to the basement, plugged it all up, accessed with a laptop and wthernet.  I could not connect to 192.168.11.1, but I could  connect to the internet.

After an hour with tech support, many resets by pushing button on bottom of router, restarts of computer and router, we could not get it working.

They wanted to issue an RMA, but I would not give up.  I cleared the cache in the browser to access, guess what?  It connects.  Don't know how or why, but a useful tip to all or the fiture.
