I have been trying to get my two Buffalo WHR-HP-G54's (I manage one remotely) to send me email notifications in case of intrusion detection. I can't seem to get either of them to send me test emails, the email service I am using (gmx.com) doesn't require ssl, I have double checked all information on both routers, but still get nothing. I temporally set up gmx with my outlook to test gmx's settings, and I was able to both send and receive messages through it. I have everything set up and it's working fine, I was able to get those test emails forwarded to my phone, now if I can only get one from a router. My Firmware for both these router is 1.40. Would really like some input on this, it bugs me when I can't get something to work haha.
