before I start ... I am sure there is a post about this already so feel free to point me in the right direction, but I cannot find anything that gives me an answer that I think clearly fits mys situation ... my eyes are painted on though :)
My problem:
System: LS-QVL/R5
Problem:
I have been away for a few weeks and the NAS has not been used at all in that time. I cannot see it on the NAS Navigator and it has a solid Amber power light (function light is off and all HD lights are green, network is steady green). I cannot find anything in the product documentation about a solid Amber light. I downloaded the latest firmware but it says that no linkstations on the network require an update (I assume this is because it cannot see it).
There are some forums that talk about forcing a firmware update, but I am confused and sure there is a simple answer (ie the process seems a little too complex for me?)
