automatic port scanning
« on: April 27, 2012, 02:09:33 PM »

i have a WBMR-HP-G300H, but i read on the internet that other buffalo routers have this problem.

the problem is quite simple, my router about every 30 second tries to connect to my lan side ftp server.

i don't know if it is scanning 20-21 ftp port of my lan network, but this generate unuseful trafic and cpu usage of my private server.

can you tell me why this happen or how can i fix this problem ???

ok i'm sorry, i have found myself the answer. it is a function of buffalo router called network service list (pretty unuseful) that can be disabled. may i say buffalo have chosen a bad menu for disabling this function ?

admin config-> name -> list network services
