In brief, I need to set a WHR-HP-G300N (user friendly DD-WRT) to 54Mps but can't see the option.
The reason is, I just got a Barnes and Noble Nook but am having trouble connecting with wifi. Lowering the speed is the most often proposed solution in the Nook forums. Tonight I will also try to set just WPA not WPA2 which is another possible solution, that may let me keep N speeds. Perhaps you know of another solution?
I'm able to connect G and N laptops to the router no problem, and can connect the Nook to the wireless hotspot created by my 3G Sprint cell phone. The Nook connects briefly (asking for password) but drops after a few seconds, reading disabled in the Nooks wifi list.
Sorry I'm not at home right now and don't know the firmware revision.
