What type of device do you have the Xbox using? It doesn't have wireless built-in, so I'm assuming you are using a wireless bridge?
My guess is that you have setup the router for a specific type of WPA encryption and the adapter doesn't support it.
Hi, koolrud,
Did you see this post?

I have the exact same problem. I am waiting for Buffalo's tech support to answer if there will be a fix at some point.
If someone has already solved this problem, then please share the information.
Well, I got my answer from the Buffalo tech support and they just said that there is nothing wrong with it and said: "If there is encryption on the router, turning it off, making sure that aoss is turned off and then trying to connect. Most times its an encryption level that is not allowing connection, and nothing else."
My AOSS is off and I have tried it with no security, WEP, WPA and WPA2 and with both TKIP and AES. Am I missing something here?
The Xbox can find the router, it just can't get an IP address or connect to it.
try changing the channel you are using. I had trouble getting my google phone to connect untill I changed the chanel to a lower channel somthing in the 10 - 11 range.
Also I'm not sure if the xbox supports the encryption you are using you might try using wep and working your way up to wpa and wpa2.
try the new FW 1.65 for WZR-HP-G300NH
Good news! Looks like Xbox has an new update this week that adds WPA2 support for the Wireless Network Adapter!
Tried it and the Xbox can actually scan for the router AND sign in to Live!
It's about time, M$!!!! Now to wait for the Wireless N adapter...
hmm do you mean wpa2
