Hi everyone!
I want ask you please... Is possible to use 4x 3TB drives in my TS-HTGL/R5 Terastation Pro II (originally 4x 1TB drives)
I tried two ways, but still without success:
a)
- I deleted the RAID there to have SINGLE drives,
- I changed only one (first) drive from 1TB (originally) to my new 3TB drive,
- I got error, that the first hdd is not formated,
- I tried to format the drive with XFS Format, but I got format error.
b)
- I changed all drives to my new 3TB drives,
- I started the Terastation with E06 error,
- so I used the TFTP Boot Recovery -> all LEDs are green and Emergecy Mode comes,
- then I tried to upload new firmware by TSUploader (I tried 1.33 and 1.35),
- I get still "ACP_State_Failure"
- so I used ACP_Commander to clear the /boot partition
- the command is: java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.11.150 -o -cb (the IP of my Terastation)
- the process looks OK, but then when I try to upload my firmware, I get still the "ACP_State_Failure" error!!
Could somebody tell me please if the HTGL supports the 3TB drives?? Or is the kernel limited? If yes, is possible to hack the kernel with basic Linux skills?? :-)
Many thanks for your help!
