LS-CH1.otl not working on network

Our normal IT person is out for the day and I'm been left trying to sort this issue. We have a network with about 10 Windows 7 pc's. All our data is stored on a Buffalo LS-CH1.0tl drive and we have been using it for about six months, with no problems at all. This morning, the computers suddenly stopped being able to access the drive for no apparent reason. I've tried restarting routers, pc's, the hard drive, etc. and nothing seems to work.

 

The drive no longer shows on a network map.

 

The setting on the back is set to "on" and there is a blue flashing light on the front. As far as I'm aware, both things are normal, but then my knowledge is somewhat minimal.

 

Does anyone have any idea what the cause of the problem is and, more importantly, what the solution may be?
