We have 2 iscsi terastations and have it 4 volumes per terastation for our servers. We are doing our backups to those volumes that are mapped to the servers, and we are also taking images and putting them on another volume. My question is that if we have a server go down and need to get data off the volume mapped to that specific server, we can not access it or map it to another server because the terastation thinks it is still mapped to the down server, it cannot be removed and can only be attached to one server at a time. How should we go about fixing this problem or any suggestions you might have?
