WZR-HP-G300NH Latching onto Port 80
« on: June 26, 2009, 07:49:28 PM »

There is documentation on the site about how to change the port of the web configuration client for WHR series APs, but nothingon WZRs.  I have the WZR-HP-G300NH and can't figure out how to change the web configuration port so my web server behind the router can be seen by Internet clients.

Thanks in advance,

 - Eric

I don't have the WZR-HP-G300NH but have the WHR-G300N, it should be much the same config for it. You go to Admin Config>Access and tick "permit configuration from wired internet" and it gives you the option of which port to use.

Thank you for the reply. I found that section last night, but doubted it worked because I was unable to get to my web server after applying the setting. However, I see in another thread that this device does not support port forwarding within the LAN, thus I was thrown off the whole time. I have confirmed with external clients that port 80 does indeed direct to the web server as it should. Thanks again, - Eric
