whr g300n router resets to factory defaults every couple of days.

Hi,

 

For about 6-8 months I have had a whr g300n (WHR-G300N Ver.1.82 (R1.12/B1.00) running as an access point   - last 2 months it keeps resetting itself every couple of days to the factory defaults.  I now have configuration saved, so recovery is pretty quick when I discover it, but it is annoying.  I couldn't find anything in the forum with this same issue?

You may need to reflash the firmware. Usually if it's forgetting its configuration like that then it would need to be replaced.
