Hi there,

occassionally my linkstation will error and and beep continuously.

I've noticed the casing and linkstation in general is quite warm and the fan is not active before or immediately after crashing out. The unit usually boots up immediately and functions perfectly.

My guess is a faulty fan unit or similar though I wanted to run it by here first, and if my assessment is correct what exactly can i do about it. (I've owned the unit for approx 18 months)

Cheers

Well the unit is out of warranty so we cant set you up with a replacement.  We dont encourage that you take it apart and replace the fan but that is at your discretion.
