linkstation live web configuration and NasNavigator
« on: September 24, 2011, 09:19:06 AM »

Why does it take   f o r e v e r    to load each page?

I'm on Lion and I've tried all the browsers. I've tried wifi and cables too.

Also, when transfering files I only get around 11mb/s, even though the mac and the linkstation are connected to a gigabit router with cat6 cables.

Another thing, when I'm on NasNavigator and choose to "open" the linkstation, the NasNavigator crashes and nothing happens.

And I wont even mention Time Machine performance. The speed is like 1k/s.

Thanks

redz, What firmware are you on and what settings have you chosen for webaccess?

You should be getting around 20MBps over wired. You could try FAQ 2 of 5 to reinstall the firmware. You could also try restoring the interface by going to system then restore/erase and choosing restore. I would also suggest trying to swap out cables and even try plugging the unit directly into your PC to see what kind of performance you get.

If I reinstall the firmware or restore the interface, will I lose any of my files already on the linkstation?
