Terastation ts-xe4.0tl/r5

Terastation ts-xe4.0tl/r5 all drives gone and cannot get this back on line .
i purchases new drives but without the boot firmware on these new disk i cannot do anything.
Does anyone have any tricks or way to get these back on line
i downloaded a tftp boot recovery with no luck unless i am doing something wrong , i have laptop set to the 192.168.11.20 network address and trying to connect

i thought it was the unit and  went and purchased on ebay a unit with no drives Terastion ts-xe12tl/r5 just in case and same condition so i am not sure if i am the issue here

Any help is appreciated , unless there is a way to buy these drives with the firmware on them allready

also tested with 192.168.11.1 as well no luck
i dont understand why we cannot have a boot file to image these to any hard drive we want to

thank you for the info i was able to get this done and now it boots into emergency mode . Keep on getting partition not found. Aborting firmware update
i have 4 drives in 2 are 500 gig and 2 are 4 Tb drive. drives are new no data just the 2 500 GIG i have set those up with 1gb ext3 as doc mentioned and added the files which got me to the emergency Mode
and yes i have edited the ini and added the debug =1

any help appreciated

got it finally working had to have 4 disk in unit
Also had to use an older version and then once that was done upgraded to latest release
