I have a Linkstation Quad (LS-QVL7E3 running firmware v 1.56) that I bought to use as storage for my movies. I'm trying to stream from the Linkstation to my Tvix HD M7000. I understand the Linkstation does not support NFS, so I need to use SAMBA.
I have the IP address set correctly and the Linkstation is pingable, but I can't seem to figure out what sharename will let me in. The folder is "Media". For SAMBA user, I've created a user "tvixhd1" on the Linkstation with password "tvixhd1" and givenaccess permissions. Nothing seems to work.
FYI, I also have a Synology NAS I access from the Tvix with NFS (sharename "\volume1\Media\").
Please help.
