Unable to web access

Hi,

I have buffalo Ls-WV2.0TL/R1 its IP :192.168.1.100, it is connected to LINKSYS WRT54G Wireless router, its IP :192.168.1.1

and I have internet connection through ZYXEL  modem Prestige 600 series with IP 192.168.0.1.

My ZYxel mode don't support 192.168.1.0 Network ,by the way I can't change Buffalo Nas IP address to 192.168.0.1 network

please help in  port forwarding,and also configuring web access.

Why cant you change the IP of the NAS to the same network range? Set it to something like 192.168.1.215, port forwarding will not work at all if the 2 devices are not on the same subnet.

Thanks  sethz,davo for replay.

I tried that link,but I am still unable to port forward.

When I change MY Nas External Port to 9000(internal already set to 9000) it gives error "please check internet connection"

I am really fed up with this .

Then you have the network settings set incorrectly on the Linkstation, go to the network tab and make sure you have the correct Degault Gatway and DNS set.

This is what my buffalo configuration is.,any thing you want me to edit i will do it.

 

 

DHCP:   Disabled
 
Primary IP Address:192.168.1.215
 
Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
 
Default Gateway Address:192.168.1.1
 
Primary DNS Server:125.22.47.125
 
Secondary DNS Server:202.56.250.5
 
Ethernet 1 Frame Size:9,694 bytes(Jumbo Frame)

 

 AFP :Disable
FTP:Disable

I wouldnt know the specific IP settings of your network so cant tell if they are correct or not. Reset the unit to defaults via the GUI and it should obtain all the correct information from your router automatically.
