Why cant you change the IP of the NAS to the same network range? Set it to something like 192.168.1.215, port forwarding will not work at all if the 2 devices are not on the same subnet.
Thanks sethz,davo for replay.
I tried that link, but I am still unable to port forward.
When I change MY Nas External Port to 9000(internal already set to 9000) it gives error "please check internet connection"
I am really fed up with this .

Then you have the network settings set incorrectly on the Linkstation, go to the network tab and make sure you have the correct Degault Gatway and DNS set.
This is what my buffalo configuration is.,any thing you want me to edit i will do it.
I wouldnt know the specific IP settings of your network so cant tell if they are correct or not. Reset the unit to defaults via the GUI and it should obtain all the correct information from your router automatically.
