I use a 2012 Mac Mini OSX 10.7.3 with iTunes and Amarra HiFi connected to a Buffalo HD-HSQ 2.0TB Quadra Drive. 2 days ago the drive started spontaneously ejecting from the system. The track being played would start to skip, then I would get the "disk was not properly ejected..." message. I have used Disk Utility to repair the Buffalo without any damage messages, but the ejecting continues.
The system has been glitch free for the duration, with the drive functioning perfectly with an old G4 Mini, then the new Mini, for more than a year (just past warranty expiration).
Any ideas about a corrective action?
