We've got a WX1-0TL-R1. We have successfully joined it to an AD domain which is in Windows 2000 mixed mode. on the Terastation under Users/Groups in the Domain Users and Domain Groups, the entries keep disappearing and mapped drives to the TS from local computers stop working at that point. If I use the Web interface on the TS and go to Network - Workgroup/domain, Modify the settings and re-enter the administrator account and password we use for the Domain, the users and groups reappear and the mapped drives start working. Anyone got a fix for this? times are within 1 minute, AD account we use is a special domain admin account we created for the purpose, DNS works, Domain Controller is the DNS server. Firmware is version 1.5

How many users are you trying to import?

What firmware version is the unit running?

thanks for the reply. v1.50. did a force update to re-install that. The time is within 2 minutes of the Domain Controller and set to the same time zone.

It could be an issue with the firmware. I would try reloading 1.50 with FAQ 2 of 5 which is pinned at the top of the storage forum.

Thank you. I had reinstalled once already. Do you recommend a second forced install?

It would be best. It seems like that would fix the issue.

Greetings, Regretfully, that forced install did not address the issue. Any other thoughts? any help is appreciated.

Now that you have update the firmware please go to system then restore/erase and choose restore. This does not delete any data.
