In PS mode may be stuck or receiver died
« on: August 10, 2013, 10:10:37 AM »
Hi all,

I recently purchased the WZR-1750DHP router and i have been running into consistent problems with intermittent connectivity.
In trying to determine the source of the problem I have been checking the logs and  I see the following message pop up from time to time:

wl0: wlc_ampdu_watchdog: ( MY DEVICES MAC ADDRESS) in PS mode may be stuck or receiver died

And I am wondering what exactly that message means and if it is related.

Hello my name is Thiago Scalone. I just purchase a WZR-1750DHP and have some problems with the product.
I have a network with NAS, 2 computers(Mac, Windows) and a ADSL(PPPoE) modem and during my backups I have many problems with route, losing the internet and the entire network, follow step by step:
0. Restart de router and NAS.
1. Connect at the Wireless, 5ghz 450 mbps.
2. Fresh de route log.
3. Start the backup in NAS by the network(AFP Time Machine).
4. After send and receive some bytes everything stop , internet and network. I can't ping and upload the backup.
5. The network back, but really slow, 700ms pings and a lot of lost packets(20%):
Request timeout for icmp_seq 4
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=5 ttl=54 time=750.971 ms
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=6 ttl=54 time=793.528 ms
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=7 ttl=54 time=749.909 ms
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=8 ttl=54 time=318.516 ms
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=9 ttl=54 time=759.449 ms
64 bytes from 200.221.2.45: icmp_seq=10 ttl=54 time=375.111 ms
6. Network down again, internet and AFP, and I can't access the route in http://192.168.11.1.
7. Change the wireless connection to 2.4ghz(217mbps) and try to backup to start backup again.
8. Internet down, a lot of lost packets(95%).
9. Backup finished after a long time, this is ridiculous, I'm trying to transfer about 24mb backup.

Follow the link from route log system: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10674904/logfile.log

I'm very dissatisfied with the product, in general, pinging is a delay of about 100/300 ms, on my old router had no problems with it, about 30ms.

So, I've updated firmware to version 2.08 before post.
