I have been using the Buffalo LinkStation Model LS-WVL.R1 for 3-4 years and have no problem with it in Windows 7 until now.
My original usage is to archive data (movies, musics, photos...) so I configure the LS as 'raid0' which combines 2x1TGB to be used as 2TB -- My 'share' folder used to hold 1TB+ of data easily.
After re-install Windows 7, I removed all the movies and copied new data to it and Windows 7 said 'Not Enough Space' -- File Explorer shows my mapped 'share' drive is only 190GB and thus it is almost full.
I go to the web browser and view the LS's internal web and it says that only 25% of 2TB space is used.
I re-format the LS disks, re-configure it as Normal and create 'd1' share folder on the first disk, and 'd2' share folder on the second disk and then map them as A: and B: drives. Windows 7 still says that my new network drives are only 190GB each. What's going on ? Pls help!!
