Backup to external USB drive not working on a LS-W1.0TGL/R1

Connected a 2TB Seagate USB drive to the NAS box to run backups to it.

 

-Reformatted the usb drive NTFS - no issues/errors

-setup daily backups on the NAS box to do full backups to the external drive

- got one backup then has failed every time after.

- doing a full backup on the weekend and then a daily differential all other days.

 

Any help would be apprecitaed

the external USB disk needs to the XFS not NTFS
