LS-WVL Getting 8Tb
« on: April 23, 2013, 05:08:24 PM »

Hi Im new to this form. I'm looking to upgrade the storage space for my media library to 4Tb and was wondering if its possible for a LS-WVL to operate two 4Tb hard drives. Im looking to put them in raid 1 so i wont have to worry about losing my data. I saw Seagate Desktop HDD.15 ST4000DM000 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive on new egg for the cheep. I'm just want to know if this is possible and if so any instructions that i would need to follow

Yes this is possible, format the HDDs and follow FAQ 3 of 5  in the sotrage section to TFTP the unit, this will put it into EM Mode, once done just install the latest firmware version.

Search the forum, this has been answered many many times before.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
