Why would I have to repair my wifi connection every time I come out of hibernate?

This is on two laptops, one running xp, the other running Win7.

 

Router in Bridge mode, with wpa mixed encryption.

Maybe it is just taking a while to get an IP from your router?  The wireless signal wouldn't have anything to do with it as far as I know.  I would contact your router manufacturer.

Is your computer set to aquire an IP automatically(DHCP)?
