Should I revert Whr-hp-gn DD-WRT to Stock Firmware?
« on: March 12, 2012, 07:13:36 PM »

I upgraded my Whr-hp-gn router to the third party dd-wrt not knowing it already had it, but my question is should I try to revert it back to stock firmware or just leave it?

I have 2 whr-hp-gn buffalo routers. One I added the DD-Wrt from dd-wrt.com and the other one has the firmware It came with. I am trying to create one as a repeater or atleast extend my wifi signal. What can I do to extend my signal?

This depends on what you want, if you want the repeater to be on the same subnet as the main AP, you'd need to use client bridge to link the routers, if you want the repeater to be on a different subnet than the main AP, then you'd need to use client mode to link the routers.
