I added external hdd (4TB) to buffalo TS5400D for backup data, but on Buffalo Setting -> Device -> USB did not show my HDD (this HDD connect to USB port on Buffalo). I was tested with another normal USB, that was show on Setting -> Device -> USB, for check or format USB.
Pls help me to show my HDD on Buffalo.

The second question: currently our client Windows 7, Windows 10 could not access Share-file if service SMB1 disable? how to resolve its?
Thanks.

Go to the settings for SMB make sure SMB 2 is enabled.

Connect the seagate disk to a PC, use the software from the below link to format the disk to NTFS (instead of using Windows), connect the disk back to the Terastation and see if it can be seen on the system now.

One is installed in your hard disk.
