I have changed laptops and the new one has Windows 10. I can use NAS Navigator 2 to see the LinkStation, but I cannot map the Share.
Error : Create a folder named "Share" before mapping the drive
Based on other posts, I have (in no particular order):
1) Made sure File & Printer Sharing is On
2) Disabled Firewall & Virus scanning (McAfee)
3) Ensured SMB is configured
The old Windows 7 machine connects with no problem.
Any advice would be very welcome!

Hi is there anyway or does anyone know how to translate that post from german to English. it seems to provide an answer for my shares not working but I have no way of knowing what it says

thanks. its images. not applicable.

Just enable smb2 on the linkstation, advanced settings - file sharing - SMB - enable smb2.
Then restart the client machine/s and it should work fine.

Thanks for the posts - I have just got back to this...
1) The share exists and can be seen from the Windows 7 machine
2) SMB2 is already enabled. I have tried switching off and back on, but no change
Any other ideas?

Help plzz.. the get the same error "could not map share, create a folder named "share".. blah blah blah... problem here on win 7 PC and an LS220D21E Nas..
No problems at all with the same win7 pc and an LS-WXL Nas...
Yes, SMB2 is enabled on LS220D
win 7 doesn't have a SMB1 option like win 10.
