TeraStation TS-XE4.0TL/R5 "E06" TFTP Mode.

Hello all,

 

I've been searching around for the past 3 days with no luck, so I am going to try here. Had to replace the drives in the terastation with 4x250 GB drives for a total of 1TB.

 

The display shows TFTP mode E06 "lost boot image". Ive downloaded many different seuggested firmwares and TFTP uploaders, but I am unable to get the device to work to the point where i can update the firmware etc. 

 

Im not sure of EM mode is the correct path for me, but even still I am unable to get the device into EM boot. I tried holding the init button while powering on, but it just goes straight back to TFTP mode...which is not helping me either.

 

Ive looked through the support section on the website as well as downloads and cant seem to find anything there to help me either.

 

Coming here to get some crowdsourced help.

Ok, Follow the TFTP steps from the link below( Assuming you have 4 Equal size HDD`s in the TS)

If you get any error messages, let us know at what stage and what is the exact error message you receive,

I do not see a TFTP boot option for my model TS-XE4.0TL/R5.

So am I completely out of luck if there is no TFTP boot download available for my model?

That worked great. But now my web interface is in Chinese.
