WXR-1900DHPD samba/Windows File Share option in 1.3.4r unusable

Hello,
I'm new to the world of NXT. I have been using an AIO Cable modem for 7 years and opted to switch to this product after the short time
 I had used DD-WRT on a Netgear and Linksys in the past and liked the HIGH amount of customizable content

now however on WXR-1900DHPD I ran into an issue with the GUI there was no option for samba/Windows File Share
until it was added in 1.3.4r

Despite its presence here it seems unusable.

I have not been able to get it to work... seeking any help or guides that might be offered

BTW I am referring to the setup and creation in the SSH or Web-GUI not on my OS ... that I am aware of how to setup
