Buffalo HD-LB1.0TU2 not working in windows 7 64 bit

My external harddisk Buffalo HD-LB1.0TU2? is not recognized in windows 7 64 bit home edition. According to the box information it should work. tried to download a driver from the site, but the serial number is not recognized.

Howto get the driver?

There is no required driver as the unit is UpNp. Does the unit show up in disk management at all? Have you tried a different USB cable or another machine? I myself have used this unit with my Windows 7 64 bit machine with no issues.
