Buffalo HS-DH500GL in EM

Hello guys !

I have Buffalo HS-DH500GL and it is in Emergency Mode (EM) now. What will happen if I press the red button on the back of the drive ? Will I loose all data or not ??

 

How can I get out of EM without losing data ?

No the reset button does to effect the data, it just reset the IP address back to DHCP and the admin password back to password.

 

To fix the issue just download the 2.10 firmware from http://www.buffalotech.com/support/getfile/HS_DHGL_2.10.zip?, unzip, deactivate the anti virus and firewall software and run the LSUpater.exe file.

If I did that and it doesn't work then where should I go.  I even connected direct to my PC instead of network, disabled firewall and antivirus...NO LUCK.
