Im new to this forum, hoping you might help.
I was using my HD, and in the middle of installign something out of it, the drive just disconencted, and reconnected, and dsiconencted again, and done it for about 6 times, till it became Unknown Device.
Now I tried to rollback time, was looking for some drivers for it, reisntalled the existing drivers with laptop restart combos and such.. No luck.
It has these power modes: Automatic/Manual
It also has 2 Lights:Power and Access.
When its on Automatic, no lights are on. When connected on Automatic, still, no lights come on!! But windows recognises an Unknown Device
When on Manual Mode, the hard drive Power comes on, and when connected to laptop, Access light doesnt turn on.
Im using 7 years old Laptop with windows xp 32bit.
Hard Drive: buffalo hd-hb300u2-eu
It is not possible to format the hard drive, as it simply is not recognised by this laptop, and currently i have no other pc around, and i need it to work asap :/
