Today when I attempted to access my LS220 on my local network, I am unable to Browse Share from the NAS Navigator2 interface. When I try to use the WebAccess link in a browser I am told that the name is invalid.
I am able to select Open Settings from the NAS Navigator2 interface, and look at WebAccess settings via the web page that opens. I can click Cancel to go back to the main menu. If I click OK, or try to edit the settings, I get an error: Verify that DNS settings are correct.
This last bit worries me. I have not made any DNS changes. If it doesn't like what is already there, I don't know where my problem is.
Can anyone point me in a likely direction to get either get the existing WebAcess share name recognized, or get a new one registered?
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
"Which led status do you have?
"Reboot the nas with the on-off switsch
do not cut the power"
Two green LEDs. The top one blinks occasionally.
I restarted using the power switch. No change to by situation.
- Cannot Browse Share
- Can Open Settings
- At (IP addr.)/root.html, WebAccess shows On, but Status=not running
- Under WebAccess advanced settings, if I click OK on current settings, I get a "Verify that DNS settings are correct." error pop-up
- http://buffalonas.com/index.php still shows my NAS name as invalid
Thanks,

Sorry. I was looking at the LEDs on the back, near the power switch.
On the front front, a single LED shows solid white. When I cycle the power using the switch, the LED rapidly flashes white for almost almost two minutes, then settles on solid white.
The only other color that showed was a very brief flash before the rapid white flashing. It was so brief that I couldn't really say if it was amber or red. Probably red.
Thanks for including the manual. I will do some reading. I didn't see any of the flashing patterns documented in chapter 11 that corresponded to error conditions.
I appreciate your help and speedy replies.

Only the upper LED was showing, so it seems my Function LED is telling me I have a function problem. Based on Chapter 8, it sounds like time to initialize my LinkStation.

I initialized from the Restore/Erase menu, then re-configured using the old settings.
I am now able to access my public and private shares via the web interface again.
Thanks for your help!
