Buffalo 2tb HD-LBU3 can't used on MAC.
« on: October 12, 2011, 03:32:23 AM »

I'm using PC and work fine on it.... when I used my HARD drive in MAC   I can only copy files from the hard drive but I cant write on it. The status of the drive is "READ ONLY".  and I try other hard drive it works fine on both.

Why is that?... Does I enabled some security features on it?  Pls anyone can solved this issue...

Reformat the HDD to HFS on the MAC. You probably have it formatted to NTFS which the MAC cannot write to.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

I've just bought two of these drives and both fail when formatting. They initially boot up as read-only too.

Why is this please?
