Linkstation LS-XHL 2Tb (failed updating firmware)

Hello,

 

i'm contacting you because i have a problem.

I bought there are 1 or 2 years ago a NAS server model: Linkstation Pro LS-XHL 2Tb

 

 

Yesterday i saw that there was a new firmware and i tryed to make the update. But the update failed and now when i turn on my Nas Server both Led are Orange. (the LED on the top, and down).

 

When i try to do the flash again it cannot found any linkstation that needed to be update.

 

The firmware is the version: 1.54

 

 

If the update failed is that still possible go back into the old version?

PS:

 

The led on the top is blinking in "Orange" color.

 

First he blinks

-1st time slowly

- 2nd time is slowly too

- And then he blinks 5 times fastly

 

 

 

What does it means please.

I25, firmware updating. Leave the unit for upto 4 hours to complete it.

Hello, thanks for your answer.

Something strange happened now the Linkstation is flashing blue everytime (LED and function button).

 

It is still not detected in NasNavigator, do you know what could it be

Its stuck in its boot sequence, follow the instructions to get it into EM mode and reinstall the firmware again.

I tryed many times (6 times)  to boot in EM Mode but when it reboot, it is stuck again with Led flashing blue.

it says that it cannot join the linkstation.

 

The linkstation get 169.254.92.202 as ip address ans when i try to change it i have the follow message "Attempt to change IP address has failed"

Then connect the LS directly to your PC, set the IP of your PC to 169.254.92.100 and then update the firmware.
