Cloudstor TFTP boot...
« on: August 11, 2011, 03:41:15 PM »

Myself and Brian_Nathaniel were able to get a TFTP package created for the CS-WX Cloudstor. We were able to use this package to recover the cloudstor when it either posted an E06 or if the main drive died and there was not a second drive in the unit. It will be posted to the FTP site as soon as possible. Brian and I are working on TFTP boot's for the V series units.

I hope this helps anyone with an E06!

The tech that you are speaking with on the phone right now is Mod Brian_Nathaniel. Normally you'd have to wait until Buffalo add's the TFTP boot file to their server, which I am still waiting on. Once it is up there it will be at the same link that the other TFTP boot files are at in FAQ 3 of 5.

I'm assuming the TFTP boot image is the same for the V series Cloudstor and the normal units. The only difference is the processor which would mean a different TFTP image would not be needed.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
