Hello, I have Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH2 ( User-friendly Firmware Ver1.82) and connected to router usb port LaCie USB 2.0 hdd with XFS file system. Average file copying speed between compiuter (through wi-fi) and router hdd ~ 1,5 MB/s. Why speed so slow? How I can increese it?
What did you expect? This isn't some PC with high speed bus and CPU, this is a wireless router with limited architecture. I've often wondered why router manufacturers put a USB port on a consumer router, they are good for a 3g modem connection or printer, but isn't for serious HDD users.
