how do I check which version of TeraStation I have
« on: June 17, 2010, 05:29:58 AM »

I have a TeraStation external hard drive wiht an error E14 (cant mount filesystem)

I am trying to upgrade the firmware using the TSUpdater

The model number on the back of the device is HS-DHTGL/R5 I downloaded the firmware for the HS-DH1.0TGL/R5.

However when I run the TSUpdater i get the message HS-DHTGL not found.

I have disabled my firewall and antivirus and my computer is on the same subnet as the Terastation.

Any ides how I can update the firmware....or any suggestions how I can resolve the E14 error?

You have a Terastation Live.

A firmware update will not fix your issue.

You need to delete and recreate the RAID through the interface page. This will erase any data on the device so you will need to refer to your backup.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebnetworks.com and we will get it fixed!

Just for the record, here's a thread showing the results of my own search for checking what version of TeraStation I have:
