Raid Scanning Not Available

Buffalo LinkStation Duo - Windows XP

Firmware version 1.34

 

Hi,

 

Just setup new Linkstation Duo with Raid1 but I am unable to turn Raid Scanning on, the modify settings button remains unavailable. Everything else appears to be working fine.

 

I hope someone can help with this problem.

you cannot enable RAID scan when the unit is in RAID0. Are you sure you have it set to RAID1?

My guess it that it is still RAID0.

Thanks for the response, yes it is definately in Raid1, the orange light is flashing because it is syncing files, would this make it un-available?

Just to update, once the flashing light had stopped I was able to turn raid scanning on.
