Replacing drives in a Terrastation Pro TGL/RS
« on: April 07, 2011, 12:41:48 AM »

Hi,

I've been given a Terrastation Pro TGL/R5 without drives.  I was wondering do you need to populate it with 4 drives before updating firmware and formatting or can you start with just 2 drives?

Have tried using 2 drives and both firmwares in normal mode and debug, but it errors when trying to create raid array. Is this an issue with the device or is it expecting to see 4 drives.

Thanks,

Peter
