Linkstation MINI LSGL doesn't power on auto [resolved]
« on: December 21, 2010, 02:53:34 AM »

HI All,

I have a Linkstation Mini 1TO. It was linked to my speedtouch. And i used to have a laptop with VIsta. The auto power mode was running without any problem, as opening my laptop in wireless mode, the linkstation was powered on and recognized.

LAst month, i changed two things:

- the modem is a new one (but same provider)

- the laptop is a new one with windows seven.

And then, the linkstation doesn't swith on automatically. If i select "on" mode, it appears in the network and i can connect and make backups.

Any idea about the reason the auto on doesn't work now ?

Thanks veryt much and please appologize about my english.

Regards,

Denis

Do you have the NASNAVI program running on the new laptop?

Yes, I do. When i lauch it it doesn't find the Link station, but when i put it in "on" powered, after 3 minutes it can find it.

I don't understand why the linkstation keeps sleepy ;-)

And just to aviod confusion; you have the NASNAVI running when you turn the switch to auto?

If so make sure you have the most up to date firmware and that you have tried resetting through the web interface

OK, thanks a lot; that was the firmware not up to date. Works fine now !
