Auto Switch Problem?
« on: May 08, 2010, 07:28:57 PM »

I have a Buffalo Wireless g Airstation 001601 B95DBI.  It is working fine for a computer and a laptop, but I want to add security.  I cannot access the internet configuration address of 192.168.11.1.  However, when I put the switch in auto, I can't even get on the internet.  When the switch is in bridge, everything works, except I don't have security enabled.

1)  Can I configure security any other way than accessing the configuration page?

2)  If not, how can I get the signal to work when the auto switch is selected?

Thanks

Try switiching it to Auto, then go to the 192.168.11.1.

Bridge Mode turns off any routing function and shoots the signal straight through from the modem. You may notice that when the router is in Bridge Mode, you can't have any more than one computer connected at the same time.
