PRO DUO Raid Failure

4TB configured raid 1.  2nd failure after 2 complete rebuilds and update to ver 1.4 firmware.

 

Suggestions?

It looks like there is a bad drive.  Is the unit reporting an drive errors?  If you look in the logs for the unit it should tell you whats going on.  If you would like post the logs here and we can look at them.

It is reporting drive failure.  The system is virtually new.  On the first failure I was advised by Tech Support to rebuld the arrary.  I think I put my faith and money on "the wrong horse;"  $400+ down the drain.

It could have just had a bad drive when you purchased it. If you call support they can set you up for a replacement HDD.

Well calling tech support is futile - no replies to 2 emails.  Moving on....

what region are you in? There is no reason why the HDD cannot be replaced. Why is calling futile?
