Security Privileges - failed to enumerate objects - Acronis
« on: November 28, 2021, 01:31:30 PM »
I am attempting to use Acronis Home Office to backup a folder to a share on a LS220D NAS. The destination folder is mapped and shared from Windows file explorer and I can read and write to the NAS from most applications.  The Acronis error message indicates that the destination is inaccessible. So, when checking privileges of the folder from a Windows 10pro computer and from a 2019 Windows virtual server I see that none of the users have any privileges. When trying to add privileges, I get the "failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied" error message. I checked in the Buffalo GUI interface to make sure that all Shares, Users and Groups have full read/write privileges and they do but I have been unsuccessful in adding privileges from within Windows so that Acronis can do the backup. Does anyone have any insight as to why this may occur and offer a solution?
